Fantasticon’ul din acest an este și un funtasticon, în care punem în valoare umorul în genurile fantastice. Umorul joacă un rol important în genurile fantastice, atât în science fiction, cât și în fantasy, ca să nu mai vorbim de horror, de la fantezii vesele, pline de viață, la satire distopice despre supereroi și mușcături de vampiri care îți scrâșnesc dinții, unde linia dintre horror și chicotit este fină. Tratăm umorul cu dragoste, seriozitate – și, bineînțeles, cu amuzament.

Fantasticon a revenit – pentru a 21-a oară cu literatură fantastică de toate felurile. Dacă vrei să vii și să te pasionezi de science fiction, fantasy sau horror (sau de toate), ești binevenit să ne întâlnim la Blågårds plads 30/5 – ⅙. Invitații de onoare ai acestui an sunt autorii Aliette de Bodard și Jasper Fforde.

Fantasticon is proud to present Jasper Fforde as one of our two Guests of Honor at Fantasticon 2025. Jasper Fforde is an British writer living in Wales, writing science fiction and fantasy with an absurdist twist. He is known for his series Thursday Next, but has also written a number of other series and stand-alone novels, including Shades of Grey and the Nursery Crimes.

Årets Fantasticon er også en funtasticon, hvor vi sætter spotlight på humor i de fantastiske genrer. Humor spiller en stor rolle i de fantastiske genrer, både for science fiction og fantasy for ikke at tale om horror, alt fra letbenede falde-på-halen fantasys over dystopiske satirer om superhelte til tænderskærende vampyrbid, hvor grænsen mellem skræk og fnis er hårfin. Vi tager humoren under kærlig, alvorlig – og selvklart – morsom behandling.
